Who We Are
The
Members
Jeannie
Martin - A
graduate of Edward Little High School, Jeannie
furthered her education at the University of
Maine in Orono where she graduated with a BS in
Home Economics (Secondary Education). Jeannie is
married to fellow band member Dan, and resides in
Lewiston with their two young daughters, Amanda
and Brittany. As the spirited and energetic voice
of the band, Jeannie takes control of each
performance. Her strong lead vocals, pleasing
harmonies, and fashionable stage presence are an
integral part of the band's success.
Dan
Martin - A
graduate of UMO with a BS in Mechanical
Engineering, Dan worked for General Electric as a
design engineer. Since leaving GE he has expanded
his expertise in other engineering disciplines
which include, sound, recording, production,
mastering, and graphics design. As a dynamic lead
guitarist, Dan provides the backbone of The
Travelers' sound. From his rock steady guitar
work to his wide-ranging lead vocals, Dan keeps
it all together.
Andy
Arsenault - As
the youngest member of the band, Andy calls the
Peru area his home. As part of a very musical
family, following in his father's footsteps,
along with brothers and cousins, Andy's
contribution to The Travelers' sound is
irreplaceable. His solid bass guitar style and
flawless vocal rounds out the musical prowess of
the front trio.
Bert
Breton - Last
but not least there's Bert, one of the original
five members of The Travelers. Born and raised in
Lewiston, he graduated from Lewiston HS and
stayed in the area, living in Turner with his
wife Gloria and their three grown children. Bert
works as an analyst in Seltzer and Rydholm's
Auburn Laboratory. Bert, being the only drummer
The Travelers have ever had, continues to lay the
beat down as solid as he ever has.
